October, India, Holidays!

The month of October looks promising... in India.
If knowing when you had holidays was important when you were a student; when you enter the workforce, it becomes even more important!
October 2013 is gifting us with three holidays:

1. Gandhi Jayanti (birth) the 3rd (celebration for all the Indians),
2. Dusshera the 14th (celebration for the hindues specially),
3. Eid the 16th (for muslims).

And starting november has:

1. Kannada Rajyotsava (Karnatka formation day).
2. Diwali the 4th (lights festival for goddess Laxmi).

In the picture, you can see a reminder in the office of the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday (9th September).

El mes de octubre promete... en la India.
Si durante la epoca estudiantil controlar que dias tenias vacaciones era transcendental, durante la vida laboral creo que es mucho mayor.
Octubre 2013 nos regala tres festivos:

1. Gandhi Jayanti (nacimiento) el 3 (celebracion para todos los indios),
2. Dusshera el 14 (celebracion de los hindues sobre todo),
3. Eid (para los musulmanes) el 16.

Y principios de noviembre:

1. Kannada Rajyotsava (dia de la formacion del estado de Karnatka).
2. Diwali el 4 (el festivo de las luces por la diosa Laxmi).
